Our mission
The person you need may already be nearby.
We’re building Neeed to make the distance between “I need someone” and “let’s do it” smaller. Help with a move. A tutor who gets it. A ride. Someone to play table tennis with. Different needs, one natural place to start.
Make asking feel normal.
You shouldn’t need a polished advert, the right group chat, or a big network to ask for help. Start in your own words. Neeed helps you turn that thought into a clear post.
Make useful people easier to find.
Someone’s skill, spare time or shared interest can matter more than their follower count. Our goal is to make those connections visible when they are relevant to you.
A need isn’t always a job.
Some needs involve paid work. Others are about sharing a ride, borrowing a tool, practising a language or finding people to play with. The experience should understand the difference.
Let technology clear the way.
Quick controls handle the basics. AI helps with the details that need thought. You stay in control of your words, the answers you give and the people you choose to talk to.
Measure what happens after the tap.
A reply, a useful conversation, a need met, a second visit because the first one helped. Those are the outcomes we want to improve. Time spent scrolling is not the mission.
Start where real life overlaps.
We’re beginning around OTH Weiden, where study, everyday tasks and shared interests can create a useful local starting point.
Learn from actual needs.
We’ll listen to the people posting and replying, see where they get stuck, and improve the next question, the next screen and the next connection.
Grow when the local experience works.
A busy-looking board means little if nobody gets an answer. We want to build a useful community in one place, then take what works to the next.
Less hesitation. More “I can help.”
The ambition is serious, but the first step is small. Tell people what you need. Show them what you can do. Give a connection a chance.
