Get involved

Help more people find their people.

We’re looking for curious people who can explain Neeed clearly, make useful content and help a real campus community take shape. Bring your ideas and your point of view. You don’t need a perfect CV to start a conversation.

These are initially voluntary roles. As the project evolves, we’re open to discussing paid work and cofounder roles. No paid position, equity or future arrangement is guaranteed. We’ll agree the scope, time commitment and terms before you take on work.

Marketing and growth

Help us make the first encounter with Neeed clear enough that someone wants to try it.

What you could work on

  • Test a simple message for one real campus need at a time.
  • Plan small launches with clubs, societies and student communities that choose to take part.
  • Make landing pages, QR campaigns and demonstrations useful in the places people see them.
  • Learn which introductions lead to genuine posts, replies and needs being met.

This could be you

  • You like understanding why people try something, rather than just chasing impressions.
  • You can turn an idea into a small experiment and explain what you learned.
  • You care about honest communication and useful local communities.
Offer your help

Offering your help opens a public offer on Neeed. Share how you can contribute; agree the role and arrangement together before you start.

Social media and content

Show the human moments Neeed is built for, in a way people would actually stop and watch.

What you could work on

  • Make short demos: one need, a few quick answers, a clear post.
  • Create stories around everyday student life, shared interests and useful skills.
  • Develop a recognisable voice across short videos, posts and campus materials.
  • Share real community stories with permission, without staging activity or exposing private conversations.

This could be you

  • You enjoy filming, editing, writing or finding a strong creative angle.
  • You can make a product feel understandable without exaggerated promises.
  • You want to experiment in English, German or both.

Campus ambassador

Help Neeed become useful in your corner of campus, starting around OTH Weiden.

What you could work on

  • Find the real needs people already mention around you.
  • Help someone make their first genuine post or useful offer.
  • Introduce Neeed to a club or community with its permission.
  • Bring back the questions, awkward moments and ideas that should shape the product.

This could be you

  • You know a local community, or want to build connections in one.
  • You like starting conversations and following through.
  • You care about helping people find an answer, rather than collecting sign-ups.
  1. Start with your interest.

Tell us which part you’d like to help with and what attracts you to it.

  2. Bring one idea.

A campaign thought, a short video, a community you know or a problem you noticed is enough to begin. Existing work is welcome, not required.

  3. Agree something manageable.

We’ll discuss a small first contribution, your availability and the arrangement openly. You can ask questions before committing.
