Campus ambassadors

Make your campus a little more connected.

Help people ask for the things they already need and discover what they can do for each other. We’re shaping the first Neeed ambassador programme around OTH Weiden, with room for your ideas.

Ambassador involvement is initially voluntary. Any later paid or cofounder arrangement would be discussed separately; it is not a promised reward. We’ll agree your time commitment and responsibilities together.

Neeed is an independent project. This programme is not an official OTH partnership or university appointment.

What being an ambassador means

  • Listen for real needs: moving help, study partners, a ride, a quick skill or someone to play with.
  • Help a few people make genuine posts and explain how to reply.
  • Try one small, permission-based introduction with a club, group or event.
  • Check what happened afterwards and bring the useful feedback back to the team.

Real posts. Real permission.

No fake activity, copied group chats or messages sent on someone else’s behalf. Invite people to post their own needs and choose what they share.

Useful moments over hype.

A tool borrowed, a study session started or a person who finally got a reply is a better story than a big sign-up count.

Work with your community.

You know what matters locally. Help shape the examples, the language and the places where Neeed should show up.

  1. Meet the people nearby.

Choose one community you already understand. Listen before proposing a campaign.

  2. Make the first use obvious.

Show one relevant example and help someone take the next step. Keep the invitation simple and optional.

  3. Learn together.

Tell us what led to a helpful reply, what went unanswered and where the experience became difficult. That feedback should change the product.

You don’t need to be the loudest person on campus. You need curiosity, care for the people around you and a willingness to try something useful.

Offer your help

This opens a public offer on Neeed. Share how you can help; agree the role and arrangement together before you start.
